Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

PivotAllift ("we," "our," or "us") operates Finnerly, a service that drafts social media posts for businesses and publishes them after the account owner approves them. This policy explains what data Finnerly collects and how it is used.

2. Data We Collect

• Account information: the email address you register with, and your name if you provide it.
• Brand information: your answers to the onboarding questionnaire, such as your business description, tone of voice, audience, and topics to avoid, and preferences you set later.
• Social account connection: the identifier of the Instagram business account you connect, and the access token Meta issues so we can publish on your behalf.
• Content: the captions and images we generate for you, your calendar, and your review decisions (approve, request changes, skip, reschedule), including any change notes you write.
• Service records: logs of when emails were sent and posts were published, and usage and cost records used to operate and bill the service.

3. How We Use It

• To draft posts that match your brand, using AI models.
• To email you review links for your scheduled posts.
• To publish the posts you approve to your connected Instagram account.
• To keep the service secure, diagnose problems, and keep an audit record of actions on your account.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or send you marketing email.

4. Service Providers

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosts the service and its database, stores images, sends our email through Amazon SES, and runs the AI models that draft captions and images through Amazon Bedrock.
• Meta Platforms: receives the posts you approve when we publish them to your Instagram account, under Meta's own terms and privacy policy.

Your brand information is sent to AI models only to draft your posts.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Social account access tokens are kept in a dedicated secrets store, separate from the main database. Review links expire and stop working once you make a decision on the post, and each account's data is kept separate from every other account's.

6. Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. To close your account or have your data deleted, email helpnow@pivotallift.com. You can also disconnect Finnerly from your Instagram account at any time in Meta's settings, which stops all publishing. A limited audit record of account actions may be kept after deletion where needed for security or legal reasons.

7. Children's Privacy

Finnerly is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your Rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing helpnow@pivotallift.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell account owners by email.
